We had a relatively quiet Christmas, for once. We just went and visited our relatives down in
Pinjarra.
I made my Christmas pavlova, as usual. Grandma used to always make the pav, but since she passed away last year it seems I've inherited that responsibility...

And I got to see my gorgeous nephew Alexander. He's incredibly bright for a one-and-a-half year old, and so cute!

We barely saw Mr Sunshine at all, though. He really doesn't like parties so he nicked off to the shed and did some welding for Uncle Steve. Because, you know, there were a couple our aunties there, and for some inexplicable reason they always want to hug him.
And speaking of Mr Sunshine, I found these fantastic T-shirts for him at JayJay's. $25 for two. Bargain. I think they suit his attitude perfectly.

Would you believe he actually
smiled when he saw them?
I couldn't have asked for a better present from him.

YUM! That pavlova looks good! I love the first shirt. I'm glad he smiled. I hope santa spoiled you too!
I love those Jay Jays T-Shirts - The students wear them to school. I think I could get away with (as a teacher) wearing the first one. Any parents who come to school for meeting would see the irony, right?
